According to reports, Sonakshi Sinha unsuccessful to alter her dates for the continuation. Jacqueline Fernandez resolve now change Sonakshi Sinha in Abbas Mustan’s 'Race 2'. In reality, Sonakshi had date problems as clashing with her shoot dates for 'Dabanng 2'.

Regarding the movie being altered to suit Jacqueline Fernandez, Taurani says, “No, we haven't done any such changes to suit Jacqueline, the film and the script remain the same as before. We will commence shooting in the first week on November and are looking to release the film in November 2012.”
